Ambassador Hazza awarding the best project of Smart Home

Ambassador of United  Arab Emirates Hazza AlQahtani payed a visit to  Mount Kigali University  through the program of  Youth Empowerment Inititatives encouraging the youth  to take advantage on the  opportunities they are given ,that the future belongs to those who imagine it ,it is not something that you await but rather create  it. 


It's an event that happened today on 13th June 2024 at Mount Kigali University Campus at Kicukiro and was attended  by students from different faculties and the university's administration people.  The day started by a visit to Royal FM radio, UAE Ambassador Hazza  had an interview  in the show of Kigali in the morning hosted by  Mr Jesse Maxell Kayingi ,then followed a tour within the Campus and students had time to ask  questions to the Ambassador. One of the questions asked was what are the requirements that the government of UAE asks  people  seeking  for jobs in their country?

Ambassador answered the questions by encouraging  the students that they are highly welcomed to apply for the jobs.

'' I will be happy to see many Rwandans working in the UAE and I encourage every one of you here to be applying for jobs when you will be done with your studies."

Among the students who  were competing through different  innovative youth empowerment projects the best group whose's project is  ''Smart Home " with the purpose to build  in Rwanda more secured houses that can be controllable at any place any time and are easily accessible to the users,  were awarded by Ambassador Hazza

Students who won the Youth Empowerment Innovative competition said that winning  gave them the encouragement to keep working hard in implementing more on their projects as it has been said by one of  the members of this group Mugisha Junior

''It's very surprising how in the whole campus we are the ones to win the competition, we are very excited and this gives us more encouragement to keep working hard as we proceed with what is remaining to complete our project."
